Ability to have Venue Sign Proposal

Hi there! We're starting to work on this feature.
I had two quick questions:
- Should guests typically be able to pay before a venue signs the proposal or only after?
- Is there a typical deadline / timeline venues want to sign the proposal by after customers chat?

Megha Torpunuri Hi! I think it would be beneficial to have that be an option in setting, but having an automatic signature (when the client signs) would be good for our purposes. Usually at the time of signing, they might need to start applying for alcohol permits so the ideal timeline would be when they sign.

Megha Torpunuri For us the timeline on the signature doesnt matter so long as it is after they sign. It may require another status in between "Proposal Sent" and "Confirmed"
I have no preference on payment.

Megha Torpunuri I would say guests should be able to pay before the venue signs. For us, the timeline on signing doesn't really apply.

Megha Torpunuri Love it! Yes, I usually prefer to sign contract when I draft and send to them initially and then client signs and pay after.
Our contract asks client so sign and pay deposit within 5 days from when it was generated

Cara Pestone, question for you! Would it work for you to have your signature automatically added to the exported agreement.pdf that the guest receives via email after they've signed? So in effect, by sending the proposal for signature, it automatically adds your signature.

Anna Western I would prefer the feature to allow us to choose to sign after the client. If the counter signature occurs automatically then the contract is binding prior to us completing one last review.

Jesse Howard I see, thank you for that! I'm guessing this could also be because the guest could make selections for choices and add-ons you want to review before finalizing your signature. That would make sense.

I need a feature that allows multiple signatures on contracts, including countersigning by the venue and witnesses. Currently, Perfect Venue only supports one signature, which is insufficient for our needs.
