We're also having trouble with this, specifically when clients have funding for their programming and need invoice numbers for their funding reports. It's coming up more and more often. An automated number based on the orders proposals are sent would be incredibly helpful.

Automatically applied BEO number to each event would also work. Something that we can give to clients that are paying with P.O. or need an invoice/beo number for their expense reports.
